I’m disappointed, but not surprised over the “controversy” about Obama’s speech to schoolkids. It seems to me that there’s got to be some middle ground in political discourse between loving the incumbent president and being convinced that he is out to destroy you way of life.
Liberals were just as crazy with Bush – left wing radicals tried to tar him as a fascist. I just wonder how we move forward with any sort of political change when the model of partisan politics has become “you’re either with us or against us.”
